Business Funding

Get Funding-Ready, Not Just Hopeful

Lenders do not decline you for who you are. They decline you for what your file says. We fix what the file gets wrong and help you build the foundation underwriters actually look for.

Here is the part most people find out too late: when you apply for business funding, especially as a newer business, the lender pulls your personal credit. They ask for a personal guarantee. So the collection from four years ago, the late payments that were never yours, the charge-off reporting the wrong balance, those decide your business's future.

That is the connection between credit repair and funding, and it is why funding readiness is built into our Elite program rather than sold as a separate promise.

What Underwriters Look At

The Five Things Being Judged

Not a secret formula. Just the things that show up in nearly every underwriting file.

1

Personal Credit

Pulled on almost every small business application. Inaccurate derogatory items drag this down for years if nobody disputes them.

2

Business Structure

A real entity, an EIN, a business bank account, and a consistent business name, address, and phone across every record.

3

Business Credit Profile

A file with Dun and Bradstreet, Experian Business, and Equifax Business, built through vendor and trade accounts that actually report.

4

Time and Revenue

Months in business and deposit history. We cannot speed this up, but we can make sure nothing else is holding you back while it accrues.

5

Utilization

Maxed personal revolving accounts read as risk. Paying balances down is often the fastest lever available to you before applying.

What We Actually Do

Our Role in Your Funding Journey

  • Dispute every inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable item on your personal reports
  • Audit all three bureaus so no lender pull surprises you
  • Walk you through the business credit foundation checklist, step by step
  • Free education so you understand what lenders see and why
  • Funding-readiness prep included in the Elite program

And what we do not do, today: we do not place funding, we take no percentage of your approval, and we never promise a dollar amount. If that changes and we begin working with funding partners, we will say so plainly on this page and disclose exactly how we are paid. Anyone who guarantees you a specific approval before seeing your file is selling you something.

Funding Readiness Program

The Credit Phoenix Funding Blueprint

A step-by-step course and checklist that takes you from wherever you are today to genuinely funding-ready. Work through it at your own pace. When you complete the checklist and your file meets the requirements, we work with you on your funding options.

01Build the Foundation

Entity, EIN, business bank account, business phone and address, and getting every record consistent so underwriters see one clean business.

02Clean the Personal File

The report lenders actually pull. What is disputable, what is not, and why this step gates everything that follows.

03Open Business Credit

Getting a file started with Dun and Bradstreet, Experian Business, and Equifax Business through vendor accounts that genuinely report.

04Manage Utilization

Why maxed revolving accounts read as risk, and the order to pay things down in before you ever submit an application.

05Know the Products

Term loans, lines of credit, equipment financing, and advances. What each one really costs and which fits your situation.

06Application Ready

The documents, the numbers, and the story. How to walk in prepared instead of hoping, and how to avoid the mistakes that trigger declines.

Completing the Blueprint prepares you to apply. It does not guarantee funding, approval, or any specific amount. Lenders make those decisions.

Questions and Answers

Business Funding Questions

Does my personal credit affect my business funding?

Almost always, yes. Most small business lenders, and nearly every startup or newer business lender, personally guarantee the loan and pull your personal credit. Until your personal report is accurate, it is usually the single biggest thing standing between you and an approval.

What credit score do I need for business funding?

There is no single number, and any company that promises you a specific approval score is guessing. Lenders weigh your personal score alongside time in business, revenue, and how your business is structured. What we can do is make sure the score they pull reflects only accurate, verifiable information.

Can Credit Phoenix get me a business loan?

Not today. We are not a lender, and we currently do not broker funding or take a percentage of any approval. What we do is the work that happens before you apply: cleaning inaccurate items off your personal credit and helping you build the business credit foundation underwriters look for. If we add funding placement later, we will disclose it here and tell you exactly how we are compensated.

How long does it take to get funding-ready?

It depends on what is on your reports. Disputes move in 30 to 90 day cycles, and the business credit foundation, including your entity, EIN, business bank account, and early vendor accounts, can be built alongside that work rather than after it.

What is business credit and how is it different?

Business credit is a profile tied to your business entity and EIN rather than your Social Security number, reported by agencies such as Dun and Bradstreet, Experian Business, and Equifax Business. Building it takes time, which is why starting early matters more than starting perfectly.

Important: Credit Phoenix is a credit repair organization. We are not a lender, and at this time we do not broker funding or receive compensation from any lender. We cannot promise approval, or any specific amount or rate. Funding decisions belong entirely to lenders. Results vary by individual credit profile and are never guaranteed.
